This application is a product of the Postgraduate Program in Primary Health Care: Professional Master in Primary Health Care at the State University of Montes Claros - UNIMONTES. It is the result of a dissertation by Sélen Jaqueline Souza Ruas, supervised by Professor Dra. Maria Fernanda Santos Figueiredo Brito and co-supervised by Dra. Josiane Brant Santos Rocha and Dra. Lucinéia de Pinho. It is a tool to help assess the levels of cardiorespiratory fitness of people between 10 and 14 years old. The evaluation starts with the 6-minute running test (6MWT) and, based on the test performance, sex and body mass index, the maximum VO2 is calculated. The result is presented with the classification of the level of cardiorespiratory fitness: satisfactory or unsatisfactory and followed by suggestions for physical exercises proposed by the American College of Sports Medicine.
