About Radio
In 1981, on June 26, the entry on the air of the first radio station in modulated frequency in the central-southern region of the state can be considered a milestone in communication. For the Diocese of Guarapuava, this fact was of vital importance, as Rádio Cultura FM, belonging to the Nossa Senhora de Belém Foundation, started to carry the voice of the Catholic Church in this range as well. At the time, the station had its coverage reduced, due to the low number of frequency modulated receivers, but this project already glimpsed a near future, the popularization of FM radio.
Since then a lot has changed, receivers have become more accessible, transmitter power has been increased, equipment and studios have undergone constant updates and improvements, staff has become more and more professional, programming has been adapted market reality, which resulted in the expressive growth of 93FM's audience.
93FM's programming now has music and entertainment as its “flagship”. The station works 24 hours a day with a program designed well to the taste of the majority of the listening public. Evangelization also has a privileged space.
