Pod Hero is a game about controlling and racing a type of ship called “pod” throught all kinds of tracks and environments so you can become the best pilot.
A pod is like a space ship, except that it is not for space, and it flies a limited height above the ground using an anti-gravity engine.
The competition of who gets to the finish line first takes a new form, the vehicles used now are not affected by the roughness of the terrain (mostly), and the speed gets to values that only the best of the best can aspire to win.
You start off with a lower level ship, but after earning some credits, you will be able to buy a better ship and have a better chance to compete against higher level adversaries.
During the races you will have to watchout your armor, since a slight touch can harm your ship. Also, make sure you catch and use the powerups that will spawn during the races.

29 Levels - Every following level presents an additional challenge that you must overcome with skill and witts
11 Ships - Starter ship is slow but safe, if you can control it. You should buy higher level ships to even your odds
7 Powerups
> Speed - provides a 3 seconds temporary boost. Use this with caution and hightened senses
> Smoke bomb - this is usefull if you are ahead and want to be more ahead. If deployed correctly, your adversaries won't be able to see for a moment
> Lazer minigun - take them out of the race with this "incentive". Prepare to aim before use because it lasts a mere 5 seconds
> Missiles - these state of the art weapon is very deady to them and to you, carefull, use at your own discretion
> Photon cannon - the ultimate "make them go slow" weapon. Just make sure to aim at you target (s), because you've got just one shot
> Radioactive cloud - stay clear of the red smoke. Make red smoke for others so that their antigravity engines slow down
> Shield - 5 seconds temporary invulnerability
> ? - yeah, random powerup. You never know what you're going to get
9 different colors - you start off with 2 base colors. Feel free to browse and change your pods appearance.
