In the second half of the twentieth century, i.e. in the fifties, he appeared in Bengali poetry as a modern poet. And in a short time he became known as a poet in two Bengalis (then East Pakistan and West Bengal). Later his superiority and popularity was established in both Bengalis. He is a citizen poet, but the cosmos was not rare in his poetry. His two poems written on the freedom struggle of Bangladesh are very popular.
