Shishu Aloy Sarathi is a navigation mobile application, based on GIS ( Geographical Information System) mapping of all the ICDS centres in the Jalpaiguri district.
It contains database of all the centres and permits search through eleven digit code or name of the centre. It uses Google Maps to provide the user, route directions for reaching the desired ICDS centre.
It will serve as a handy tool for residents of Jalpaiguri for locating the nearest ICDS centre. It will also lead to close and effective monitoring of the ICDS centres by the officials, resulting in better service delivery.
