The "Fronteira Channel" is the former "Web TV Fronteira". "Web TV Fronteira" was founded on February 17, 2015, and officially went live on July 3, 2017. In this new phase, its name was changed to "Fronteira Channel" (so that, together with the other two new channels that emerged: "Fronteira Movies" and "Fronteira Kids", giving more meaning to a network with three channels), however, its programming has not changed. Today "Web TV Fronteira" is the junction of the three channels. Its official launch is scheduled for 20:00 on January 29, 2022.
