Our goal:

Bring together atheists and agnostics, defending their interests and rights, throughout the national territory, as well as in the countries or independent states where the Brazilian State
has diplomatic representation;
Fight prejudice and misinformation about atheism and agnosticism, atheists and agnostics;
Assist the self-affirmation of atheists and agnostics in the face of social prejudice and rejection;
Point out atheism and agnosticism as viable, consistent and moral philosophical paths;
Promote secular ethical systems;
Promote the effective secularity of the State, fighting in all legal spheres any type of association that is contrary to the
described in the Constitution of the Federative Republic of Brazil;
Promote critical thinking and the scientific method; and
Defend the legal rights of atheists and agnostics being able to participate and contribute to the democratic institutions legally described and grounded
in the Constitution of the Federative Republic of Brazil, making suggestions, participating in social discussions and representing
public or private actions always based on the objectives described and based on the bylaws.
