Foodonation (pronounced Foodo-Nation) is a platform where households and restaurants can place a request to get their excess food picked up either by needy people or NGO agent (who can provide this food to people in need). We can share our food instead of throwing it away. There are many people who don’t get proper amount of food required everyday. So, with this app our goal is to provide food to many needy people as possible.
A lot of restaurants have leftover food at the end of the day. They are left with no option but to throw that food. With the help of this app, they can just place a request for food pickup by the needy people or NGO agent in just a minute and can help a lot of people.
Also, even normal households are left with extra food occasionally. They can too use this app to deliver this food to needy people.
Our primary aim is to make as many restaurants and NGOs to join to our platform and use this app on daily basis.
