Pocheon Sustainable Development Council
It is a public-private partnership platform that promotes the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (P-SDGs) of Pocheon City in line with the Sustainable Development Goals adopted by the United Nations in September 2015. Established in 2023 as a local agenda 21 promotion organization based on the recommendations of the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNECD) in 1992, this association pursues sustainable development, including NGOs in Gyeonggi-do and cities and counties, women, businesses, communities, and local governments. Various stakeholders are participating and cooperating, and monitoring and policy proposals, information sharing, education and practice are being promoted for the implementation of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
