The campaign 'Responsible Use of Energy' is an initiative of the Provincial Energy Agency of Córdoba, in collaboration with the Provincial Institute of Social Welfare, which seeks to reduce household energy consumption, mainly through awareness and the formation.
This campaign on the responsible use of energy is structured in 2 complementary lines of action:
-Charlas in municipalities of the province of Córdoba
- Specific workshops in 10 homes
OBJECTIVES
The main objective of this activity is to highlight the elements of greatest consumption, how they are used, where losses occur and that the user can be aware of how to be more efficient on a day-to-day basis.
10 TIPS FOR SAVING ENERGY IN THE HOME
* 1. Take advantage of natural light.
* 2. Use the dishwasher and washing machine with economic programs and full load
* 3. Avoid introducing hot foods into the fridge, this considerably increases your consumption
* 4. Disconnect devices you do not use. Use power strips to turn off electronic devices completely
* 5. Wash in low temperature whenever you can
* 6. Take advantage of the residual heat, turning off a few minutes before finishing cooking
* 7. Turn off the lights when you are not using them
* 8. Do not overuse the heating and air conditioning. Maintain the right temperature at home.
* 9. Check the status of your appliances, if you have a small breakdown will consume more
* 10. For cooking, manages the efficiency of resources: microwave, pressure cooker and oven last
