"Geoguess Turkey Where Am I" offers you the chance to select major provinces in Turkey beyond the classic geographic exploration games (geoguesser, geoguessr). In addition to the provinces of Istanbul, Ankara, İzmir, Bursa, Adana, Konya, Antalya, Şanlıurfa, Gaziantep, Mersin, Eskişehir, Niğde, there are also game options throughout Turkey and the world.
"Where Am I" algorithmically sends the player to a semi-random Google Street View location based on the selected region. It requires players to guess their position using only visible clues.
In large-scale regions such as the world and Turkey, marking is made and estimated on the Google Map map screen by using clues such as vegetation, landforms, architectural structures, road signs, businesses, climate.
The scoring algorithm gives points by calculating the distance of your prediction from the location you were posted.
Each game includes 5 different locations and your total score is calculated at the end of the game.
There is a separate scoreboard for each region and if you rank in the top ten, you will be placed on the "Best" list. It is a kind of Map Locator Game.
