6D Project; We emphasize the principles of correct enteral nutrition. Through meetings, trainings and campaigns, we aim to convey the 6 Truths in Malnutrition Management under one roof.
Malnutrition
Energy is defined as an imbalance between nutrient requirements and intake resulting in deficiencies of proteins or micronutrients.
Malnutrition in early childhood; as well as impairing motor skills, behavioral problems, attention deficit, learning disability and low IQ-like cognitive impairment.
Causes of Malnutrition
Primary malnutrition: It is the result of insufficient intake of macro and micro nutrients due to sociocultural and / or economic reasons, regardless of any underlying disease.
Secondary malnutrition: It develops due to an underlying disease (severe infections, neurological problems, cancer, congenital heart disease, renal failure, chronic liver diseases, neonatal cholestases, malabsorption, cystic fibrosis, severe immune deficiencies).
