“The ShirMa application is designed to recognize the authenticity of banknotes in denominations of 500, 1000, 2000, 5000 rubles by checking their series and numbers. Scanning is performed using the mobile device's camera or manual input. If the series and number of the scanned banknote match the data stored in the memory, the message "the probability of forgery is high" will be displayed. In this case, the scanned banknote should be checked additionally, using the manual input embedded in the application functionality (IN MANUAL MODE, ENTER THE LETTERS EXACTLY AS ON THE CHECKED BUY, INCLUDING CAPITAL AND SMALL CAPITALS). For the purpose of correct operation of the application, do not apply it to copies of genuine banknotes and souvenirs that are not means of payment, since identification is carried out only by reading series and numbers, without scanning the paper itself and watermarks.
