Pill Reminder: Reminders the senior citizens to take their pills at the right time. Triggers alert to the elder and the guardian.
Emergency Call: Directly calls the emergency contact number saved when clicked. It also sends emergency trigger messages to other family members set up on this app.
Tech Guide: Displays a list of how-to videos to keep the senior citizens engaged in the application and help them navigate through daily tasks that they would need assistance in. (For example: How to use a TV remote?)
Magnifier: A tool to magnify/zoom using the phone’s camera. It works like a traditional magnifying class. There will be an option to click the magnified image displayed on the screen.
Torch: Taking inspiration from the elder-friendly phones, this button will function as a switch on/off for the phone torch.
Activity Tracker: An activity tracker to measure one’s daily exercise in terms of steps taken, time takes and kilometers walked. A goal-setting feature is available as well. It will be designed to motivate the elders to walk more.
Phonebook: A phonebook where the numbers of the important numbers can be kept. It eliminates the need to dial any number. The objective is to keep the family and important contacts at the touch of the fingertips.
Counseling Helpline- This feature connects to the Dignity Foundation helpline. Elders can reach out to this number to talk to someone. The intention is also to draw more people to the Dignity Foundation as an NGO.
