About Alertify
Have you ever wished you could allow a notification from a specific app act as an alarm and bypass silent mode and do not disturb (DND)? Now you can.
Alertify allows you the choose any app on your device, and turn it's notifications into alerts. Users can also setup conditions around these alerts, like an alert time window (one or more), and key words (one or more) being present in the content of a notification.
Alertify uses the same system permissions as you alarm clock does, so you will not miss an alert notification, even with your device on silent or DND mode.
The original use case was for home security. I wanted to be woken up if any of my Ring camera's detected a person during the night. For this I needed a specific time window for when the alarm should trigger and to be able to detect the keyword "person" in the notification to avoid simple motion detection. When these features where implemented it was clear that this could have many other applications.
