In the soKoimAll project - promoting the social skills of apprentices, young people experience an exciting adventure both before and during the dual training program. On the way through the galaxy, a spaceship gets into a crisis situation. There is a lack of fuel and food. Help should be found on an inhabited planet. But the living things are different: the appearance, the language, the values. Just like in real life: Young people meet other generations, different cultures, different social groups and sometimes feel like extraterrestrials.
Age-appropriate and fun, they move through the adventure in the app and try out different action alternatives. Sometimes in the virtual and sometimes in the real life energy, knowledge and fun points are collected, the self-image sharpened and training-related, socially competent behavior practiced. For example, the participants strengthen their ability to communicate, their intercultural competence or their marginal behavior. With the help of an adolescent blended learning approach, consisting of presence workshops and a smartphone app, the young people are supported and challenged with regard to their social competence. The achievement of the goal is evidenced by a certificate of completion. An area for teachers and apprentices complements the offer.
The offer is suitable for young people with a language level of A2.
