'Gental diabetes' - An unexpected guest who unexpectedly came to mothers in a blessed state who are preparing for the birth of a new life. Gestational diabetes mellitus is a disease with a relatively high incidence during pregnancy, occurring in 7.5% of all pregnant women (2009-2011, based on data from the National Health Insurance in Korea).
As a physician, I have treated many patients. However, it was always heartbreaking and careful to inform the mothers who believed themselves to be healthy or who were actually healthy until the diagnosis was made in the clinic.
How does the disease called 'gestational diabetes' occur, how to manage it, how it progresses in the future, and what effect it has on the 'baby'...' Question marks that pop up in the mother's head as soon as she hears the diagnosis.
I have tried to deliver this disease in as much detail as possible within the time allowed, and in a way that patients can understand well, but it was not easy to deliver a lot of information in a limited time.

Based on the regrets I felt at the treatment site and the various feedbacks that patients gave me, I made the calf diabetes app book. Calf App Book - 'Pregnancy Diabetes' was produced with the heart of our calf Haiti, who wants to help mothers who have been diagnosed with 'gestational diabetes' and returned home with a bewildered mind.
