1. THE ATLAS
It includes detailed information sheets on the species present in Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon.
BRING YOUR SPECIES SHEETS
When you are connected to the internet:
• Apply filters if you want to download specific species sheets (eg birds, July, forest environment, yellow flower, etc.)
• Download the list of selected species or groups
At any time you can delete the list of downloaded species and create a new one to return to the field.
When you are offline when you go out:
• Consult the content of species files downloaded in the Atlas
• Apply filters if you want to do a specific search
2. OBSERVATIONS
Your observations added to your field notebook can be shared on the Natural Heritage Portal for identification and validation.
• Add your observations in the field (without internet connection)
• Associate them with your account by synchronizing them whenever you want (or as soon as you have access to the internet)
• Connect to the site https://www.spm-patrimoine-naturel.fr to manage your observations and publish those you wish to share with other observers.
• Become a qualified Observer for your correct identifications.
• Participate in Missions which will be challenges launched to search for specific species.
3. EXPLORE the natural environments of Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon
• Discover the main ecosystems characterizing the archipelago and their distribution across the territory.
