Badminton is a fast and addictive game that can be both entertainment and a professional sport. It is played both indoors and outdoors between two or four players.

Badminton uses a light ball of feathers or artificial materials called a shuttlecock or cannon. The goal of the game is to throw the shuttlecock over the net so that the opponent cannot reflect it and return it back. Players may use rackets with a long handle and a flat oval head to hit the shuttlecock.
