Item analysis refers to the statistical methods used for selecting items for inclusion in a test. This app can be used for the selection of items for an assessment tool based on their discriminating power. The app calculates the t value as a measure of the discriminating power for each item in the draft scale. Items with t value greater than or equal to 1.75 is considered to have significant discriminating power (Edwards 1957) and can be selected for the preparation of the final scale.
