About Stop The Bus
Get ready for Stop The Bus — a fast, fun, and strategic multiplayer card game.
Game Rules:
• Every person gets 3 cards turned over. While they begin, each one holds those without knowing their value.
• Pick a card from the deck, exchange it with one from your hand, toss it away, or play abilities smartly.
• Quick reactions count - grab a discarded card before someone else does. As soon as you take it, swap it with one from your hand right away. After swapping, toss the old one aside without delay.
Some of these cards come with unique abilities:
• K – Swap any 2 player cards
• Q – See your cards for 5 seconds
• J – Lock any player card so that it can't be changed
Each card has a value. Normal face cards have their value e.g. 2, 3, 4, etc. The power cards above all have a value of 10 and the 7 has card has a value of 0 making it the most wanted card!
How to Play:
At the start of each round, a random player starts by picking a card from the deck which is shown face up. If it's a power card, they can use it's ability and then discard it. If it's a normal card, they can either choose to swap it with a card from their deck or discard it immediately. Any discarded card can be claimed by other players. The value of the discarded card is unknown to the other players claiming unless it's a power card because of the use of it's ability.
Once each player has played a turn, the Stop the Bus button is enabled for each player to click. Once the button is clicked, the current turn is completed and then the player card totals are calculated and the player hands are revealed. The player with the lowest score wins.
The game has 3 difficulty levels (Easy, Medium, Hard).
