SULYAPP is a supplementary app specially made for SPED teachers teaching Visually Impaired students. Apart from its braille teaching module, the app enables SPED Educators to create a special file called Braille Ready Files or BRF compatible to a variety of teaching aids like Braille Refreshable Displays, Braille Printers and Braille computers.
SULYAPP is powered by Google Freedots and LibLouis that takes advantage of different braille notation conversions including Braille Codes, Nemeth Codes for Mathematical Expression and Braille Ascii. The app also features a dedicated Expression and Text Pad that creates Math, Text, and even Musical XML files ready for conversion to BRF. Best of all, it empowers SPED educators to collect BRF files of different content on their phones that they can share through Google Drive among their fellow teachers.
