Was buggy at first, and eventually it became impossible to turn on & off the switchbox. Not a hardware problem, I downloaded the App "GSM Control" for android, works perfectly. I wish the SwitchBox owners would update their app, it would make this a great combo.

A nice feature of this app is that it accurately displays the status of the switchbox unit, which I share with 3 other users. However, it still crashes when I try to edit the switchbox info (we had to get a new sim card for ours), and since deleting the old one, it won't let me edit the details on the new one. It keeps defaulting to "Switch Box". This makes the app useless to me.

I have had occasional probs with the app, after phone system updates or forgetting a password. The app gets 4 stars, but customer support is exceptional. Quick response, helpful and friendly. Got my problem resolved same evening, above and beyond my expectations.

App does not correctly sync to device, so there's no way to tell the actual status of the Switchbox. Also, the blue phone feature does not work - it sent texts incurring a charge instead of using the Twilio phone service as advertised. It quickly ate up the credit on my T-mobile account when it should not have. Confirmed with the company that the app is not working as it should. Also experienced the same problem as Courtney, with the app showing other peoples' Switchbox units prior to adding mine.

Concept is great. Reality is not so much. Getting random other switches on my app. Acts like a toggle, not a real time status indicator, Ie it gets out of synch so it shows on when it is off and a tap on the app then turns it on and shows it off, but you aren't really sure if it is on or off. Please fix a couple things so it can reliably do what it should in concept. Thx.
