With the aim of preserving the Ivorian forest heritage, the SNVLT mobile application has been set up to ensure legal and traceable exploitation of timber throughout the Ivorian territory. This will allow the collection of information on logging and all products from such logging. It will also prevent unnecessary destruction of forest cover in the Ivory Coast and also fight against global warming.
SNVLT is therefore only used to collect data in the field to ensure that the entire logging process is legal and in accordance with applicable laws. SNVLT does not collect data on people or their location. SNVLT proposes to take screenshots of operating documents to ensure that the data entered in the application conforms to those written in the documents.
