Taporavana, also known as Lankapura, so called by the ancient Greeks in the 4th century BC, is the fortress island of the legendary king asura Rāvaṇa

Sri Lanka has a continuing history of human settlement for more than two millennia and its civilization has been shaped largely by that of the Indian subcontinent. The two main ethnic groups of the island, the Sinhalese and the Tamils, and the two dominant religions, Buddhism and Hinduism.
Despite its obvious affinities with India, Sri Lanka has nonetheless developed a unique identity over the centuries which ultimately set it apart from its neighbor. The cultural traits brought from India have necessarily undergone independent growth and change in Sri Lanka, partly due to the island's physical separation from the subcontinent. Buddhism, for example, has virtually disappeared from India, but has continued to flourish in Sri Lanka.
Ravan, known as Ravana, ruled Lankapura, aka Malendura, which was the country's capital at that time. It was believed that this place was covered by three mountains. According to the inscriptions, the extent of this Kingdom was greater than the present surface of Sri Lanka. However, according to some legends, it was claimed that part of the present land of Sri Lanka was ruled by this kingdom.
Who was the king who ruled Ceylon during the period from 2554 BC. to 2517 BC? What is the void that King Ravana (Ravan) left in history? Did he live with 10 heads?
We begin the journey towards the unspoken truth about King Ravana and Taporavana.
