PulsExpert - पल्सएक्सपर्ट

“PulsExpert” is a dynamic and interactive mobile app offered by ICAR- Indian Institute of Pulses Research , Kanpur. Farmers can use this mobile app to gather information on different aspects of major pulse crops. Farmers can ask voice query through mobile and attach photographs from field and share with experts to get solution to their pulse crop related queries. Agriculture experts have interactive dynamic expert console to respond to farmer queries and share best practices, alerts to the farmers. Mobile app provides latest technical knowledge, advanced agricultural practices developed in the research institute. Information related to the identification and management of major diseases and insects in Pulses crop is also available in one of its kind PulsExpert module of the mobile app in local language. PulsExpert module also helps farmers to take help in irrigation and Crop economics related information.
This mobile app is being released for following states - Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka and Maharashtra in their local languages.
Farmers can also share feedback about the app with the experts. Through this application farmer have been made aware of national initiatives like “Mann Ki Baat”, “Swatchh Bharat Abhiyan” etc.
