Integrated Medicine promotes a fruitful dialogue between the holistic disciplines and academic medicine, which are not antagonistic but complementary. Two faces, therefore, of the same coin that they are right to coexist in the complementarity and integration. It is working on these aspects that the doctors - all doctors - will be able to complete their project of healthcare, which has in preventing its hinge and that the union of conventional medicine, the different complementary therapies, dietetics and of the correct 'important baggage of nutraceuticals available today, is a modern and rational widely shared foundation.
