The REST curriculum aims to enhance the mental toughness of prospective students (graduates of Pedagogical Departments and / or graduates who have not yet started working as teachers), teachers in order to achieve better adaptation and response to their workplace requirements, prevention of burnout and greater effectiveness in their teaching and pedagogical work.
It consists of 7 main sections including:
Basic theoretical training on the role of resilience in teachers' personal and professional life, protective and risk factors, and ways to improve it.
Extensive experiential work on issues of mental toughness. Specifically, in this section, users have the opportunity to self-assess (through psychometric tools) of these dimensions, learn ways and strategies for empowerment, practice their use with appropriate hands-on exercises and get 'tips'. »By specialist and / or experienced teachers.
Suggested activities and books / movies on mental toughness.

The program is designed based on Mansfield, Price, McConney, Beltman, Pellicionne and Wosnitza (2012) digital training program BRiTE .
Building on the success of BRiTE (Mansfield, Beltman, Broadley & Weatherby-Fell, 2015) (https://www.brite.edu.au/ ) The Staying BRiTE network, a collaborative network of teachers from 6 Australian universities with partners around the world, was created. The members of the Staying BRiTE team aim to integrate mental resilience skills and strategies into educational programs and develop curricula and empowerment programs for prospective and active teachers.
