INRS Elec is a program for people holding an electrical authorization. Its aim is to help these workers to spot potentially dangerous situations when performing electrical operations order. It comes in the form of a questionnaire covering 12 key points relating to work organization, equipment and tension. It allows the operator to compare themselves to best practices.
The application is used during power order operations on industrial and commercial installations. The user responsible for the intervention the information just before you start the operation. At the end of the questionnaire, it gets an assessment of potential risks specifically related to the planned intervention. The application also generates a summary of the responses which can be saved or transmitted in PDF or Excel format.
Limitations of Use
The use of this application does not replace the risk assessment provided by the labor code; it falls under the employer's responsibility to assess the risks to the health and safety of workers and to implement the necessary preventive measures covering the technical, human and organizational. The employer must verify the adequacy of the measures recommended with the specifics of the operation and add the steps required by the risk assessment other than electricity. The measures and recommendations proposed by INRS Elec application does not apply to work on installations or energized equipment.
