The application for the screening of depressive disorders is based on an expert interview - an algorithm prepared by an experienced clinician on the basis of diagnostic criteria for the diagnosis of mental disorders according to the ICD-10 classification.
The questions are formulated clearly in a form enabling an affirmative or negative answer. The algorithm based on the criteria for diagnosing depressive disorders makes it possible to determine the suspicion of the existence of a particular depressive disorder and to direct the person undergoing screening as to what to do next.
REMEMBER! That the application is only for SCREENING DIAGNOSIS, having the nature of a preliminary diagnosis directing your thinking and motivation to take further steps. Such a diagnosis MUST ALWAYS be confirmed by a psychiatrist.
