Queen Mary’s School was established by Mr. K.J. Mathews and Mrs. Molly Mathews in 1981 and then registered under the aegis of Queen Mary’s Educational Society, Cuttack in 1989. It has been recognized by the D.P.I, Odisha in 1992 and was affiliated to the Council for Indian Schools Certificate Examination (I.C.S.E), New Delhi in 2000. The institution aims at solving the educational problems of present day parent, by giving their children the best and most suitable education of the time and the place they live in, at an affordable and reasonable cost.
The approach of Queen Mary’s School is from time to time, to evolve policies and programmes to build up firmly the basic knowledge and character of the child, on which his bright and enlightened future rest, and thus make this institution, a distinct, qualitative addition to the resources of education, rather than a more quantitative expansion of facilities which may already be existing.
