About 孟子有聲書

Mencius is one of the Chinese Confucian classics, which records the thinking and political strategy of Mencius, a thinker during the Warring States Period. It was recorded and organized by Mencius and his disciples.
Mencius occupies a very important position in the Confucian classics and is one of the four books.
Mencius (372 BC - 289 BC), surnamed Ji, Meng family, given name Ke, was from the State of Zou (now Zoucheng, Shandong Province), and was a representative of Confucianism during the Warring States Period. Its name was not recorded in ancient books before the Han Dynasty, but after the Cao Wei and Jin dynasties, different names such as Ziche, Ziju, Ziyu, and Zizhan were reported.
There are many theories about the date of birth and death due to the unrecorded historical biography. Among them, it is recorded in "Mencius Family Tree" that he was born in the fourth year of King Lie of Zhou (372 BC) and died in the twenty-sixth year of King Zun of Zhou ( 289 BC) was adopted by most scholars.
