Call police ”ፖሊስ ጥራ” app is an android based mobile application which contains all police station phone number in Ethiopia. Everyone can download and report any incidences by calling via this app.
Features of the app:-
1. Good GUI
2. Supporting the Firebase Database. The data is stored in the Firebase database. When the user is installed the app the data will be retrieved from the cloud server and will be stored in cache memory for offline use. Later no need to connect with the Internet to access the data. It will work without Internet access. The data will be updated when the user is connected to the Internet if there is new data available in the cloud server.
3. Search feature available. The user can easily search the phone number by typing the place name or town name in action search bar.
4. Supporting the Amharic language.
5. Only needed 3.2M storage.
6. Future work: I will include GPS enable future to easily find the police station.
