The World Maxibasketball Union -UMB - is a non-profit organization, founded in the city of Managua - Nicaragua on June 26, 2015, by a group of friends from the countries of Colombia, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Panama, Argentina, Ecuador, Mexico and Uruguay.
The UMB as a worldwide organization respects the freedom of association, the freedom of participation of athletes in any tournament or in any other organization. It does not discriminate against teams because they participate in other sporting events that they may have. We are a young Organization, which works hard every day, innovating and improving with the sole purpose of serving the maxibasketball of the Ad Honorem world to fulfill dreams and live the great basketball festival in harmony, integration and respect.
