Tingklik is a traditional Balinese musical instrument made of bamboo in the shape of a blade and is played by hitting the bamboo blade with a bat called the tingklik pelvis. The tingklik gamelan consists of two instruments including the Plain Tingklik and Tingklik Sangsih. One fruit (really) Tingklik has eleven to twenty-five bamboo blades. The number of bamboo blades used depends on the type of scales used. Tingklik is played using two hands where the right hand plays kotekan (melody) and the left hand plays the bun (rithm) and sometimes also uses the right hand as sangsih and the left hand is plain.
