AN APP FOR LOVERS OF ART AND TECHNOLOGY
Net Service, Touchlabs and Mondo Digitale have developed an app through which it will be possible to view and vote, with a Blockchain guarantee, the ten works in Augmented Reality created by the students of the IAAD and the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna selected in the context of call for artist APArt - Augmented Public Art 2020 promoted by Art City Report and included in the Art City Bologna 2020 program.
A VIRTUAL EXHIBITION ACCESSIBLE TO ALL
The virtual exhibition accessible through the app is the result of a path aimed at discovering and using new technologies in the artistic field. In fact, the young artists used the Tiltbrush (VR) application to create the works, which were subsequently transformed into Augmented Reality to make the path truly accessible to the public.
EXPERIENCE THE VIRTUAL TOUR AND VOTE YOUR FAVORITE ARTWORK
The APArt - Augmented Public Art app will allow all art and technology enthusiasts to follow the virtual path specially created in the historic center of Bologna on their mobile device. During the tour it will be possible to see the works on display, vote for your favorites and discover new corners of the Emilian capital. A long journey that will take visitors from the train station to the Net Service Digital Hub (via Ugo Bassi 7), the Net Service Business and Competence Center which, on January 25, 2020, will host the award ceremony for the three winners of the call for artist , selected by the shortlist of ten finalists thanks to this app. During the evening it will also be possible to attend the performance + exhibition of Mitja V3rbo Bombardieri, entitled Metabugs https://www.netservice-digitalhub.com/it/eventi/Metabugs.
The app uses augmented reality technology supported by the latest generation devices, other models may encounter problems in correctly viewing the works.
The app is available for all latest generation Android devices
