The project, Turiviva+: Senior Tourism: Wellness Routes and Local Experiences in an Insular Ecosystem, financed by the PO2020 Azores program and the Regional Government of the Azores with the reference ACORES-01-0145-FEDER-000115, developed the Turiviva+ application. This innovative application aims to provide senior tourists with greater knowledge about the traditions and experiences/relationships with some emblematic places on the island of São Miguel. Through this App, tourists have 300 georeferenced points, allowing tourists to access photographs and short videos, available on a circular route. The development of the Turiviva+ application also took into account the identification and attraction of specific tourist segments at an international level, from the perspective of the development of sustainable tourism and the promotion of collaborative relationships and the promotion of innovative activities related to tourism on the island of São Miguel .
