Up & Down Makeup Italia is born in Novara, at the foot of the famous Antonellian dome, the new brand for makeup conceived and strongly desired by the creative mind of Davide Brustia. The makeup artist, from Novara, has a long career behind him, which began thirty-five years ago in Milan, in what Vogue America in the Eighties called “The Italian Temple of Beauty”, Diego Dalla Palma's Makeupstudio.
Up & Down Makeup Italia wants to represent the vibrant energy of that period, trying to make the world of beauty once again glamorous, today, in her opinion, often homologated and stereotyped. Of course it is not necessary to remember the famous piece of music that bears this name, “Up & Down” which has already entered the legend of electronic music, recognized all over the world at the first notes and considered an evergreen track filler.
With a more far-sighted look, Davide Brustia intends to make it a real ethical philosophy of life. Life itself, in every corner of the world, is made up of "Up" moments and "Down" moments.
