This unit deals with management indicators, the main attributes that must be taken into account for their elaboration, the characteristics, some questions that will guide the reader to generate an adequate and reliable indicator, important definitions such as responsibilities in the creation, management and control. of the results, as well as the added value of the indicators, which is the proposal for continuous improvement to progressively increase standards.
A solved applied exercise is presented as a guide, in a process of assembling a fastening element, consisting of 5/16 screws, nuts, washers and guasas, meeting the needs of customers and complying with the previously defined standard times, generating a compliance indicator, a goal and an average of customer service.
