About Gerakan Masjid Bersih
Welcoming Ramadan 2021 this time, Unilever Indonesia is again witnessing its annual 2021 Clean Mosque Movement to create clean and comfortable mosques, as well as educating the public on the importance of familiarizing themselves with clean living habits both in the home and mosque environment.
The "Clean Mosque Movement" was initiated by Unilever Indonesia and the Indonesian Mosque Council (DMI) since 2017 under the name "Clean Mosques". Until last year, this activity has reached more than 100,000 mosques throughout Indonesia, and this year, God willing, there will be 30,000 more mosques. Sahaja from Unilever, together with DMI and Baznas, will donate cleaning product kits, as well as educating the public, especially santri and Marbut as the front guard guards of places of worship, related to hygiene protocols, especially in mosque areas.
