Speech Text Reading Converter (SPETRIC) is an application with assistive technological innovation that makes it easier for Deaf/hearing-impaired friends to understand daily conversations around them as well as conversations with someone from a distance which is equipped with a conversation feature between the speaker and the participant.
Spectric Live transcribe
Convert/convert voice/speech to text in realtime. The text will appear on the phone screen when the word is spoken. Transcribe allows speakers not to bring up unwanted conversations through the play/pause feature in the application.
Spectric Forum
The discussion room between the speaker and the participant / friend is deaf / hearing impaired, can be used in virtual lectures / webinars / activities accompanied by conversations between the speaker and participants.
Participants can follow or listen to conversations that have passed, as long as the forum is still active.
Participants and speakers can have conversations both privately and publicly.
Speakers can find out who participates in the forum.

Development
This Spetric is the result of a Scientific Research Program grant funded by LPDP in an independent lecturer research scheme obtained by Universitas PGRI Argopuro Jember (UNIPAR), a private university that supports inclusive and disability-friendly campus programs. In this scientific research program, researchers collaborate with research partners, namely CV Multi Center Indonesia.
This Spetric application has been tested for use at the Center for Disability Studies and Services, UNIPAR Jember, with students with hearing/sensory disabilities.
