The IA³ project offers a fun and interactive state of the art of knowledge around robotics and artificial intelligence, through content selected by scientists from the University of Bordeaux.
In particular, podcasts resulting from conversations between scientists and the public recorded on May 31, 2018 during the "Wanderings" are available.
The interface represents a three-dimensional cube, or 6 faces. Each side of the interface cube is a different world, related to a theme (for example, law and robots). We use the touch screen on groups of characters and listen to podcasts, discover references etc. Three game assistants guide the players in their discoveries:
- Bobby is the character who initiates the subject of the world discussed. it is visible on each side as soon as it appears. It indicates the overall theme of the universe.
For example he could say:
“Discover the world of robots and their emotions”
- Olie is the character who creates and opens the debate. It is hidden in the landscape, behind an animated element (for example, a moving bush). When you find her, she comes out of her hiding place and asks you a question that prompts you to think about your relationship to the theme.
For example "Do you think that one day we will be able to marry a robot? “
- Riki is the character who relaunches the game. He is hidden in the landscape, behind an animated element (for example, a moving bush). When you find it, it comes out of its hiding place and offers you to navigate to other universes, which address other questions.
For example “Have you ever been to the world where there is a big scale?
The question of robotics and artificial intelligence can sometimes be frightening. Faced with the unknown, IA3 is reassuring by linking human and digital interaction.
Works only on tablet.
