"From Chantilly to Azay, the return of Renaissance portraits"
The exhibition you are about to discover presents thirty-six paintings from the Renaissance and the beginning of the 17th century.
These portraits of historical figures were part of an exceptional collection of over 300 paintings assembled at the Château d'Azay-le-Rideau by the Marquis de Biencourt in the 19th century.
In the mediation space, you will discover, thanks to the VISIT application, a selection of the most important works of the exhibition, with content in augmented reality.
Ultimately, this application will make it possible to view content in augmented reality on tourist sites in the Center region. It is carried out by the ILIAD3 and LIFAT team from the University of Tours. It is funded by the Center Val de Loire Region through the 2019-2022 Regional Interest program.
