To facilitate asset data capture from site directly by the end user, empowering users with right technology solution is an important facet. Technology has to reach them on their hands / on site / anywhere and everywhere. Mobility is the only solution through which user can access the survey applications on the go, directly at site. Survey app on mobile can help user to capture the network assets on site at real time / easily locate the asset or consumer with help of GPS / view the required electrical network at site / view data requirements and take decision. Mobility can also help the user to capture and update the data on site more accurately and timely.
Towards empowering users with the above mentioned capability, we have developed an Android mobile based App, enabling users to seamlessly carryout survey activity. This initiative is one of its kind and unique to be used and used by any Indian electrical utility company for carrying out accurate asset survey using mobile technology. This application has been developed with objective of speeding up data collection, its analysis, display, and decision making by using up-to-date, more accurate field information in conjunction with spatial data.
