UPMC in Italy offers a no-cost telemedicine service to its patients and their families. This project, available in Italian and English, allows remote patient monitoring and prevents patients from going to a hospital or a medical center, unless urgent medical attention is required.
The App UPMC My Telemedicine in Italy allows you to use the telemedicine service in a quick and easy way. For more information and to participate in the remote monitoring program from home, please contact your UPMC nurse or email telemedicina@upmc.it.
The telemedicine service is part of a project promoted by UPMC in Italy, based on an advanced technological platform, and entirely financed by USAID (United States Agency for International Development).
