The Andhra Pradesh Integrated Irrigation and Agriculture Transformative
Project (APIIATP) envisages the revival and restoration of 1000 minor
irrigation tanks by adopting the Sustainable Minor irrigation
Project (SMIP) approach.
The objective of the project is to enhance the agricultural productivity,
profitability and resilience to climate variability in selected tanks system of
Andhra Pradesh benefiting small and marginal farmers, water user
associations, farmer producer organizations, fisheries cooperative
societies, participatory ground water management groups, and other
agro-entrepreneurs etc. Towards this goal, CADA, WRD is interested in
design, develop and implementing a comprehensive computerized and
web enabled “Management Information System (MIS)” and “Geographic
Information System (GIS)” and for APIIATP, as per the World Bank
norms.
