The mobile app we have created, allows an automated management of the order management processes coming from our customers. The aim in the design phase was to bring innovation into the distribution processes in our sector.
Current technologies allow us to offer better services with more extensive control. These were the targets to be achieved during the briefing phases with the project managers of Veicoli srl.
The result obtained is an IT system that allows our customers to automatically send us daily orders via API. The Veicoli cloud platform is able to receive them, and through our UNIVEX mobile app, our operators receive the distribution of packages on the various vehicles that must make deliveries directly on their tablet. The system automatically, once the driver has left the warehouse, will calculate all the arrivals with respect to the various stops, taking into account all the variables such as traffic.
Thanks to this infrastructure, we are able to automatically notify the customer via email if there are any mismatches between the planned delivery times and the real ones.
In addition to this, the system monitors the progress of deliveries, giving feedback in real time on each completed delivery.
All the parameters on timing, delivered products, temperature are monitored and stored for 5 years as required by current legislation. All to offer a qualitatively superior service and optimized with respect to resources and timing.
In 2019, if a picture was made of the state of the art of transport in general, or even taking only our industry as a sample (distribution of drugs), we could undoubtedly note a great backwardness with respect to the tools available.
The use of advanced IT systems like ours, in addition to guaranteeing a higher quality service, also manage to automate processes that otherwise would be waste of resources and time for our customers.
