The National Animal Diseases Information and Surveillance (NADIS) is the only data system that collects, collates, and analyses animal health data in Nigeria.
It also disseminates information on animal diseases and is responsible for disease reporting to the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) and other regional organizations.
NADIS is the only official tool of the Federal Government of Nigeria's Ministry of Agriculture and the Regional Disease Surveillance Systems Enhancement (REDISSE) Project.
REDISSE aims at strengthening national and regional cross-sectoral capacity for collaborative disease surveillance and epidemic preparedness and response in West Africa.
NADIS was developed and is currently maintained by Vetsark Limited, an organization with a vision to transform agriculture in Africa.
