Why is the Catholic religion the true one?

Because it is the only religion founded by God himself. So simple and easy. All other religions, monotheistic and polytheistic, Christian and non-Christian, before and after Christ, have been founded by men, not by God.

Catholic: from the Greek "kath'holon" which means "according to the whole", "universal".

1-The Church founded by Christ is called "Catholic", to differentiate it from the Christian churches that do not recognize the primacy of the pope.

2-The Catholic Faith that comes to us from Christ through the Apostles.

3-What is truly of the Church, to differentiate it from what is heretical or schismatic.

Catholicism (from the Greek καθολικός, katholikós, 'universal, which includes everything') is a term that refers to the main current branch of Christianity, which emerged after the Schism of the East in 1054. Catholics are faithful to the Catholic Church, as well also to theology, doctrine, liturgy, ethical principles and derived norms of behavior, as well as to the group of its followers as a whole, who are called "Catholics".

The Catholic Church considers that the only Church that Christ founded and entrusted the apostle Peter to subsist it subsists in it, entrusting him and the other apostles with its dissemination and government.

The Greek term katholikós, which came to late Latin as catholĭcus and then to Spanish as Catholic, can be translated as “universal”. This adjective, which refers to what is common or encompassing all, was used by the Church of Rome to refer to itself.

It is important to note there are dogmas shared by Catholics and other Christians. Among the main Catholic dogmas, which are based on the Bible, appear the Holy Trinity (there is only one God who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit), the Immaculate Conception (Mary, the mother of Christ, was conceived without sin), Motherhood Divine (Mary's pregnancy was the work of the Holy Spirit, she being always a virgin) and the Eucharist (the bread and wine that become the body and blood of the son of God).
