The Association Québécoise des Entrepreneurs en Infrastructure (AQEI) was founded in 1995. At that time, it was known and known as the Association Québécoise des Entrepreneurs en Égouts Aqueducs (AQEEA). The AQEI is therefore an association of employers working mainly in the field of municipal civil engineering infrastructure.
Today, the AQEI represents, for more than half of its members, civil engineering and signaling contractors who carry out work contracted by cities and municipalities in Quebec. In addition to general contractors, AQEI is also made up of suppliers of materials, equipment, services and subcontractors.
